Pilar Hogans

Campus Director

Pilar holds her Master’s in Nursing from University of South Florida, and is a Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Medical and Clinical Electrologist, and a Licensed Esthetician. Pilar has been practicing aesthetics for over 10 years, and loves helping her clients make confident decisions and achieve incredible, natural-looking results—because when you look good, you feel good!

Pilar doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to non-surgical aesthetic treatments. She combines artistry with science to achieve her clients’ unique beauty goals, approaching the face as a whole from a 3D perspective and prioritizes facial globalization and harmonization. Her main expertise and passion is safely delivering optimal non-surgical results through dermal fillers, lasers, neuromodulators, and skincare.

Pilar has trained with renowned physicians, nurses, and injectors within the aesthetic industry worldwide, such as Dr. Zack Ally, Dr. Amrit Thiara, Dr. Matt Pywell from Derma Medical in the UK, Julie Horne RN from South Africa, Dr. Steven Weiner & Dr. Chris Surek studying Ultrasound in Aesthetics and diving deep into Aesthetic Anatomy. Pilar has also trained with Dr. Thuy Doan from Atlanta, and Lori Robertson APRN from Califronia.

When not working with clients, you’ll find her traveling for opportunities to further develop her skills or for pleasure with her husband, and doing DIY projects around the house.

Chloe Melton

Facial Specialist Instructor, Student Coordinator

Chloe graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with her Bachelor’s degree. Upon seeking out her passions she began working towards her Esthetics license from the NY School of Esthetics in New York in 2013, graduating with an Advanced Certification in Chemical Peels. In 2014, Chloe moved back to Florida and continued working at a National Franchise Wax Center working her way up to become the Regional Wax Trainer for North East Florida where she trained all incoming new wax associates in the territory.

Looking to settle down, and travel less, Chloe began working in the Medical Spa Industry as a Medical Spa Coordinator and Esthetician in 2016, and assisted in developing two custom skin care products with a team of chemists and a physician.

In 2019, Chloe joined the Hello Smooth family as an esthetician and eventually moved into a management role. Chloe continues to stay active in her esthetics license and is certified as both a ZO Skin Health Specialist and Expert.

She has continued to further her education and received a HydraFacial Scholarship in 2022. Her scholarship gave her the opportunity to become a HydraFacial Connect Professional, Expert, and Master. In 2023, Chloe trained with Dr. Zein Obagi in California with a select group of ZO Skin Health Experts.

Chloe has always chosen to deeply educate her clients on how to make them look and feel their best through science based skin health. She hopes to continue that by having the chance to educate the next generation of skin experts in St. Johns County. Chloe enjoys bridging the gap between textbook knowledge and real life experience to further educate her clients and students alike.

Chloe’s favorite part about working in aesthetics is empowering clients and students through education!

When Chloe isn’t working, you can find her on an adventure with her husband and daughter or snuggled up at home with her animals.

The instructor Trish Knight is very knowledgeable and will guide you through every step of the way. I love the intimacy of the smaller class environment, this also allows for more hands-on learning which is crucial in the field of aesthetics. I am leaving this program with the greatest feeling of accomplishment and confidence. I strongly recommend Jacksonville ELSA to anyone seriously considering a career in aesthetics!
